Gavin Newsom fires back at Donald Trump
Illegitimate President Donald Trump has illegally ordered the California National Guard and the U.S. Military to invade Los Angeles in order to crack down on protesters who are exercising their First Amendment rights. California Governor Gavin Newsom has pushed back against this, prompting Trump to (again illegally) call for Newsom’s arrest.
Gavin Newsom isn’t having any of it. Incompetent Trump lackey Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who is now somehow the Governor of Arkansas, went on Fox News and claimed that what’s happening in California would never happen in Arkansas, because Arkansas values “order over chaos.”
Newsom promptly fired back at Huckabee Sanders on Twitter, pointing out that “Your homicide rate is literally DOUBLE California’s.” It’s the latest reminder that while blue states always get the most negative media coverage, red states are often a far bigger mess. The level of media bias is insane, and it’s good to see Newsom fighting back against it.
