The cruel part about the former guy’s disastrous, corrupt, and illegitimate presidency is that it brought America to its knees in ways big and small. It wasn’t just that he negligently got half a million Americans killed, or that he conspired with America’s foreign enemies. His wife also ripped out Jackie Kennedy’s beautiful Rose Garden and replaced it with a bland, ugly, and over-paved nightmare.

Fortunately, class has returned to the White House, not only in the form of President Joe Biden, but also in the form of First Lady Dr. Jill Biden. She’s already improving the Rose Garden by adding a colorful array of flowers:

Here’s hoping that Dr. Biden sees fit to continue restoring the Rose Garden to its former glory, even as we all collectively continue to piece America back together in ways big and small.
