I’d like to tell you about two ancient beings. Phobos is one of them. In ancient Greek mythology, Phobos was not someone to mess with. You see, Phobos was the God of fear. He was “the personification of fear and panic.” He was also the son of Ares and Aphrodite. And then there is Deimos. Deimos was his brother and was the God of DREAD and….terror. Together they made a fearsome team. And I’m certain that these two would be smiling down at Donald Trump. Because what can be assured is that right now, Donald Trump is feeling: Fear. Panic. Dread. And terror.

Oh yes, make no mistake, the orange monster is squawking. I think he truly did not believe it would happen. I refer to his fall — the fall of Donald Trump. His rantings have gone so out of wack I cannot even repeat them here. He sounds like a crazed monster, a gnome who is unraveling at a rate faster than the footsteps of lady justice.

But I can tell you about trump’s latest demand because it’s delicious. Trump, in an all caps rant, demanded the prosecution of DA Alvin Bragg on the charge of “interfering with his 2024 campaign for president.”

This is really something. I have the feeling, friends, and readers, that trump really may have thought his ass was covered when he made his presidential announcement. Perhaps he thought nobody would be brave enough to go through with it. If so, he’s an even bigger fool that we have him credit for.

This is Trump’s mantra — his modus Operandi — to insist whoever is calling him out is a criminal. Only it’s Donald that is the criminal. He obviously can’t cope with the fact that in just a few short days, his fingerprints and mug shot will be stored in a criminal data base.

And I am sure fear — and dread — the stuff of which many a mythological tale is made — are not emotions trump is used to feeling. Not at all. When one is an arrogant bully, accustomed to getting away with it all, they scorn emotions like that.

Only now, he feels them. He feels as we did when he was, unfortunately, president. He feels the wrath of Gods. He feels fear. Panic. Dread. And terror. And there is nobody — absolutely nobody who will come along and save him from his own self-induced fate.
