Even for Donald Trump this is idiotic

As much as Donald Trump likes to talk, one would assume that he listens to what he says, but that’s asking way too much from this imbecile. While his minions may believe everything Trump says, the rest of us take what he has to say with the proverbial grain of salt. Trump recently sat for an interview with White House correspondent Kristen Welker of NBC News. During that interview, Trump tried his usual “duck and dodge” approach when asked about the state of the economy, which left the MSNBC economic panel almost literally rolling on the floor.
When Welker asked Trump whether the shrinking economy is his economy, Trump responded: “It partially is right now. I think the good parts are the Trump economy and the bad parts are the Biden economy.” Trump later alleged that the interview was “dishonest.” No, Trump is dishonest. He knows damned well that President Biden left a strong and growing economy, and in 100 days, it has almost flatlined. That’s one of the many reasons that voters see Trump as a failure.
Guardian analyst David Smith looked at the first 100 days for Trump and referred to it as “an historic collapse.” Pollster John Zogby said: “He actually squandered his hundred days, perhaps you can argue, by doing too much, not succeeding with much of it and overplaying his hand.” This is no surprise. Trump barreled into D.C. not intent to govern but to try to bend the country to his will. Even as Trump continues to flounder, his “yes men” are trying to prop him up with lies. Trump’s interior secretary Doug Burgam called Trump: “Not just courageous but actually fearless.” Pam Bondi claimed: “The first 100 days has [sic] far exceeded that of any other presidency in this country ever,” and JD Vance claimed that all former presidents were “mere placeholders who were not men of action.” Those claims are laughable at best. They can continue to try to prop Trump up as much as they’d like, but the truth is that Donald Trump sucks, in every way, shape, and form. His “policies” are a joke. The fact is that Trump is probably the least likeable president in U.S. history, as his ratings continue to tank and opinion polls show him as “historically unpopular.”
Former RNC chair Michael Steele described what has happened perfectly: “The reality is you do it fast, you do it furious, you do it at different times and levels and places and you wind up creating 100 rabbit holes at one time. People are stuck trying to figure out which is the most important rabbit hole to go down. That’s what you’ve seen play out.” Not only has Trump confused himself by following his own playbook, but he’s incompetent, which only makes things worse. He surrounded himself with incompetent “yes men” who do stupid things like adding a journalist to an official discussion, and instead of being terminated, he was simply moved to a different role. Trump’s incompetence knows no bounds, but we should be feeling confident that we will, in fact, survive Trump. He’s way too stupid to do anything of lasting impact.
