Even as his poll numbers and approval rating continue to get worse, Donald Trump keeps trying to find ways to get himself into the good graces of white suburban voters. The trouble for Trump is that he thinks racist lies are the key, and a lot of people just aren’t falling for that anymore.
Trump posted one of his most derangedly racist tweets yet today. Fortunately, Congressman Eric Swalwell was on hand to factually put Trump in his place:
This isn’t just racist. It’s factually wrong. I was a part of a city council that required developers to blend market-rate & affordable housing. Guess what happened? Home values have gone up in the last decade and Dublin has never been a more desirable place to live. https://t.co/MzyEDHYUXs
