I love Eric Swalwell. There are many reasons for that, but one of the primary ones is that, like with Pennsylvania, Senatorial candidate John Fetterman, Swalwell is the king of the snark. And he really does have a way of “owning” Republicans in ways few can emulate. Just ask Rafael Cruz, who has been the unlucky recipient of Swalwell’s tweets more times than I can count.

So it should come as no surprise that Swalwell let loose with a tweet that pretty much defines the GOP. And in so doing, he owned them — mercilessly.

Let’s take a look at a particular tweet from the GOP and Swalwell’s response. Tweet from the GOP: “Republicans support life!” Sigh. They didn’t; they didn’t — they DID. What a silly tweet. And Swalwell told them as much, adding his own authentic brand of humor as only he could do:

“Unless you’re a woman, a child, a teenager, a person of color, a senior citizen, a veteran, & earning less than $1 million a year.” Did I happen to mention I love Eric Swalwell? This tweet sums it up so magnificently I’d like to see it turned into a commercial. I think it would be very effective. Let’s look at some of the responses to this brilliant tweet:

“Or any mammal, bird, lizard, or living creature.”

“Or an immigrant.”

“Republicans support insurrection.”

“It’s a typo. Republicans support lies.”

“Certain exclusions apply.”

“Touche.”

“Points for spelling, nothing else.”

“Or on the receiving end of a gun.”

“Republicans support massive stupidity.”

“Republicans support Russia.”

As you can see, this tweet provided some amusement on Twitter. Let’s hope he continues on with the brilliant tweets.
