Elon Musk holds unhinged Oval Office press conference, unwittingly admits he’s completely full of shit
If you want evidence that Elon Musk is acting as President of the United States while Donald Trump sits there in a haze of senility, you need look no further than their joint press conference in the Oval Office today. Trump sat there looking like he didn’t know what was going on, as Musk stood behind him and answered questions while a toddler sat on his shoulders.
This is jarring enough. We have a President who has no idea what’s going on, and an unelected madman usurping the presidency in order to carry out his own unhinged agenda. The very idea of this press conference was proof that something is very, very wrong. It got even worse when Musk spoke.
When a reporter pointed out that Musk had made a laughably false claim about supposed aid to the Gaza Strip (the aid actually went to Mozambique), Musk admitted that “some of the things I say will be incorrect and should be corrected.”
Uh, no. Wrong answer. You don’t speak until you know what you’re talking about. Elon Musk is flat out admitting that not only has he taken over the federal government, he’s too incompetent to even know what he’s talking about. He’s also too arrogant to learn what he’s talking about, and too reckless to keep his mouth shut until he does learn. This whole thing is flat out insane.
