Elon Musk’s “DOGE” agency – which isn’t even a real government agency – has been causing all kinds of trouble this week as its personnel have invaded (and in some cases shut down) actual government agencies. So who beyond Musk is even working for DOGE?

As it turns out, one DOGE staffer was linked to such offensive social media posts that he ended up resigning today after the Wall Street Journal inquired about the matter. This raises serious questions about who these people even are who are being sent to illegally take over one government agency after another.

It also raises questions about the vetting process. Is Musk failing to vet the people he’s hiring, or are offensive social media posts more likely to get you hired by Musk? DOGE is in total upheaval in general. Its co-leader, Vivek Ramaswamy, resigned on literally day one. Its top legal counsel resigned shortly thereafter. We doubt today’s controversial exit will be the last. DOGE is the most mismanaged government agency of all time.
