Donald Trump’s senility knows no bounds

It’s a joke! That was my first thought upon hearing the news that former Fox Host Jeanine Pirro had been appointed by Mr. Trump to be acting U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia. Well, it had to be a joke. Surely nobody not even moron, could possibly be that stupid right? Right? Nope. As Bill Palmer told you, it’s really happening. I have a few words to say about all this.

How does Trump decide who to appoint for what post? It certainly isn’t how other presidents do it — pick the best person for the job. No, Trump seems to pull names out of the air. Does this person like me? Good, he’s getting a job with me. This lady complimented me? Good, I’ll promote her.

And on and on and on it goes, this crazy, mixed-up, upside-down Ferris wheel spinning out horrible, very bad, no-good candidates faster than the speed of light. Pirro has so much baggage that it seems incredible anyone could even begin to take this appointment seriously. Who’s next? Hannibal Lecter as chief of staff?

Pirro is a conspiracy theorist, an election denier of the highest order. I have no patience with conspiracy theorists of any sort. I have this theory that most conspiracy theorists have entirely too much time on their hands, are bored, and are looking for some mental stimulation, and that’s why they fall down these rabbit holes.

Pirro, who hasn’t worked as an lawyer in MANY years, is a living, breathing, walking cartoon character. She’s a social media meme, flashy ostentatious, and guaranteed to give people a chuckle and a LOL or two, or three, or fifty.

However, what she will not give anyone is admiration—Nobody admires Pirro. On the plus side, at least her buddy Pete Hegseth will have a potential drinking buddy. I’m sure these two former Fox pundits will have much to talk about. This is just a terrible, horrible choice. Shame on Donald Trump. It seems his senility knows no bounds.
