David Perdue is apparently throwing caution to the wind and going all-in on racism in the Georgia Primary races. Perdue, who will likely suffer an epic loss, has told Stacey Abrams to “go back where she came from.”

Perdue is really reaching for the Maga hate hard. I suppose he is hoping if he shows just enough repulsiveness mixed with racism mixed with Misogyny, he might have a chance — after all, those are all the things the Maga base appears to love. And he is proving when it comes to morality — he doesn’t have any.

He is defending himself by saying his comments come as a result of Abrams saying that Georgia was, in fact, a poor state to live in. Anybody with any human intelligence knows what Abrams meant. Unfortunately, many of the southern states lag behind in terms of education, poverty, crime, health care, and much more.

States like Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama are usually among the bottom of the pile in these areas — and Georgia as well. That is what Abrams meant. And having spent time in Georgia, I know what Abrams means. It is a lovely state, but its quality of life is low for many.

Now we know that Perdue is giving a wink and a nod to racists. WE know that. And abhorrent as his comments are, I doubt they will make a difference in the game at this point.

Do you know what would be so nice? It would be so nice if a Republican JUST ONCE turned to the television cameras and said: “I want to win because I care about this state. I want to make a better life here for my constituents. I want to HELP you.”

We rarely hear those words from any Republican anymore. And it’s a crying shame. Because there are a whole lot of people, who DO need help. That is why we must go all in. Remember the Palmer Report manifesto. Nine races. Remember the power of nine.

We are so close, my friends. Can you not see the top of the horizon? I can visualize it. And winning will taste so sweet. Remember — nine is the magic number. Let’s concentrate on it. And let’s win this thing — for ourselves and our country.
