Donald Trump’s completely unhinged plot against Hollywood involving Jon Voight and Mel Gibson
Donald Trump has spent the past week viciously attacking the Los Angeles area and its leaders during the fire crisis. Trump even went as far as posting a fake picture of the Hollywood Hills on fire, with the “Hollywood” sign defaced to read “TRUMP WAS RIGHT.”
Up to now Trump has been content to merely sit back and attack Hollywood and its elected leaders during the crisis. But now Trump has decided to spring into action, in the most bizarre way possible, to try to mess with Hollywood.
Trump posted this on social media today, and well, you have to read the whole thing for yourself: “It is my honor to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone, to be Special Ambassadors to a great but very troubled place, Hollywood, California. They will serve as Special Envoys to me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to Foreign Countries, BACK—BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE! These three very talented people will be my eyes and ears, and I will get done what they suggest. It will again be, like The United States of America itself, The Golden Age of Hollywood!”
First of all, what does this even mean? These three washed up actors are now going to roam Hollywood and report back to Trump about… what exactly? Also, Jon Voight is mentally incompetent, and Mel Gibson is a total pariah. It’s not clear why Stallone wants to ruin his reputation by getting caught up in this dumpster fire, but whatever. The whole thing is a joke.
