Donald Trump just lost his first appeals court ruling too
Donald Trump keeps losing in court over and over again, as one federal judge after another rules that his administration’s actions are unconstitutional. This has amounted to a major short term victory for the resistance, as it slows Trump and his henchmen down at a time when they’re frantically trying to work as quickly as possible.
Of course Trump is inevitably going to appeal every one of these court rulings. But the good news is that Trump just lost his first appeals court ruling as well. If Trump keeps losing his appeals, that’s going to slow him down even further. And remember, the Supreme Court declines to take up the majority of cases that are put in front of it. So it’s likely that at least some of these appeals court rulings against Trump will simply stand.
Yes, Donald Trump and his henchmen are publicly talking about simply violating the court rulings. We’ll see if they have the stones to go through with it. But even if so, that’s a tomorrow thing. For now, we’re scoring a major victory by winning all of these court rulings, and now winning appeals court rulings as well.
