Donald Trump just laid an egg
What a stupid thing to say! Such words are becoming a daily occurrence, for we have a nincompoop in the White House. However, the following may just be the stupidest of the stupid. Donald Trump’s AG Secretary has a new explanation of why egg prices are surging. And it’s a doozie. This woman is saying that the reason eggs are so expensive, with costs skyrocketing, and egg shortages everywhere, is because we are in the Easter season.
Pause. Pause as we allow this stupidity to seep into our bloodstream. “This is always the highest price for eggs,” she chirped. Say WHAT? By gosh, so THAT’S it! Let’s look at this strange and crying-out-for-understanding comment together.
First, it is over a month before Easter, forty days to be exact. It is NOT Easter season, and nobody is yet going on Easter egg hunts, except perhaps for grocery stores, which are experiencing egg shortages the likes of which this country has NEVER seen.
She also gushed with admiration for Trump’s “big, bold, fearless moves.” Please allow this writer to pause here to vomit. Does he tell them all what to say, I wonder? I could easily see Trump demanding all his cabinet members call him “big, bold and fearless.” Even though he is small, scared and fearful.
It really is like anyone who gets close to Trump sees themselves get stupider. This explanation for the skyrocketing cost of eggs is utterly absurd, and I doubt many people will even believe it.
