Donald Trump just got put in his place

Donald Trump has only been in office for about twenty-four hours, and he’s already targeting everyone from immigrants to transgender people with hateful (and in some instances plainly unconstitutional) executive orders.
The question is who’s willing to stand up to Trump. Today we got to see at least one hero in action. When Trump attended an inauguration sermon, he ended up getting put in his place by a courageous Bishop named Mariann Edgar Budde. You have to watch all two and a half minutes of this:

Wow. Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde fearlessly calls out Trump and Vance to their faces. This is heroic. pic.twitter.com/igyKzC8dRo

It’s not just notable that Bishop Budde made such a point of speaking truth to power. It’s that Trump, his family, and his entire entourage looked so incredibly uncomfortable while it was happening. The message may have fallen on deaf ears within the Trump cartel. But the Bishop’s message may ultimately reach some people out there who haven’t yet figured out that “Christian” and “Trump supporter” are opposite terms.
