Donald Trump just got DECIMATED
Donald John Trump is now the laughing stock of the world. Sometimes a writer’s work is never done. Sometimes, big big, BIG news stories come in during a political writer’s process, forcing the writer to shift focus from what they were writing about to what they are NOW writing about.
I have had to do just that. You see, the Supreme Court has just eaten Donald Trump for lunch. In a stunning ruling, the court blocked Trump from using the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan immigrants. There was already a block on against it. The court has extended it.
I just can’t even — I can’t even begin to imagine how Trump is taking this news as it is A HUGE defeat. Trump’s been attempting to use the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 for evil purposes, but it isn’t working for him. Perhaps that’s because HE is the real enemy of the people, not these defenseless immigrants.
The whole court, with two exceptions (guess which ones), ruled against Trump in a stunning show of solidarity that speaks volumes. What it says is: Up yours, Donald Trump. The court has sent the matter back to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals to decide how much notice the immigrants should receive.
CNN calls this decision “a significant loss for Trump.” It is, and that is precisely the way things should have gone. Trump’s hate for these immigrants is fueled entirely by racism, by the color of their skin. You can bet if they were WHITE South Africans, we wouldn’t even be in this predicament.
In another stunning move, the court referenced Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who remains locked away in an El Salvador prison far away. The court said that, given how carelessly (my word) the Trump team has handled THAT case, “the detainees’ interests at stake were accordingly particularly weighty.”
Karma is taking many bows this week against MANY people. This is undoubtedly one of the worst weeks Trump has had since assuming the presidency. Nothing’s working out for him. He is staring into a sewage-infested pond of crap and winning on literally nothing.
It serves him right. America the beautiful and the jewel, is fighting for her life right now. She is fighting for the people our Statue of Beauteous Liberty references: “your tired, your poor, your huddled masses.” America has seen it all, and she is stronger and way more impervious to defeat than a racist beached whale of an orange man whose only contribution to society is hurt, hate, and pain.
Trump is a livewire waiting to explode at the less fortunate, but today the rainbow of color — color which INCLUDES immigrants from ALL over — has won at least for now. And Donald Trump, rest assured, will go to sleep tonight angry, enraged and singing the song of utter failure.
