Donald Trump just admitted it

It’s not very often that I post on anything Donald Trump says – Twitter or otherwise – because it’s usually a way of amplifying his nonsense even if you’re remarking about how inaccurate his claim is. In this rare instance, however, Donald Trump has told the truth when it comes to describing the economy: the good parts are his doing and the bad parts are Biden’s doing.
That’s it – in his own words. That’s how Trump and the GOP’s outlook on the economy is always going to be, which is something we’ve always known already. Any negative effects they’ll blame on their predecessor while of course, any good news (which there’s getting to be less and less of these days), is going to be Trump’s doing. It’s the classic Republican operation to keep anyone from noticing that they’re absolutely terrible when it comes to the economy.
The Trumpers have been doing mental acrobatics since tariffs first came up about how it’s actually 5-D chess, even though it begs the question that if he’s so smart, how come he didn’t wait until his second term to actually implement them? Now, all you have to do if you ever feel the need to interact with these clowns is to point out Trump’s own words about the economy – because the guy is now so far gone he can’t really keep a hold on what the script is and what his handlers tell him from time to time. This is the messaging – as simple as it could be – and no degree of conservative explanations (or rationalizations) can turn things around for the voters that are always “on the fence.”
