Donald Trump Jr just stepped in it
There’s a theory that says if you’re extraordinarily dumb, it means you’re actually too dumb to understand what any smart person is ever talking about, and so the fact that you’re always hearing gibberish from the “smart” people leads you to believe that you’re actually the smart one. Donald Trump Jr may be the poster child for this theory.
Donald Trump Jr never misses an opportunity to be too clever by half. He’s always making “clever” arguments on Twitter which merely reveal that he lacks the capacity to understand anything that’s going on around him. Now he’s found a new and dumb way to step in it.
By now fact checker after fact checker has confirmed that the Taliban didn’t actually execute someone while hanging them out of a helicopter. But don’t tell that to Donald Trump Jr, who just did this:

Bizarrely, Donald Trump Jr is now posting retweets mocking Daniel Dale for daring to fact check him on this. That’s right, Junior thinks that merely smirking at the facts is somehow a factual argument of its own. Junior might actually be the dumbest Trump kid of all.
