Donald Trump is setting himself on fire on Truth Social right now
Donald Trump’s handlers finally had him do a swing state rally yesterday in Pennsylvania, and if you want to know how poorly it went for him, he thought he was in North Carolina. He was also oddly obsessed with talking about rewinding live television. Suffice it to say that Trump’s bumbling rally didn’t get him the attention he wanted, and so now he’s going nuts online.
Trump has made dozens of unhinged posts on Truth Social this afternoon. He’s insisting that his Pennsylvania rally crowd size was only small-ish because so many (imaginary) people were turned away. He then called Kamala Harris a “Communist” three times in the same sentence. But his meltdown was just getting started.
Trump shared a post that pictured a bunch of Black guys and labeled them “monsters” (no really, he did this). He also shared a poll that shows him supposedly winning the election by 49 points. So Trump is both racist and delusional today, as usual. But there’s something manic about how badly he’s melting down right now. He knows he’s losing and he knows there’s nothing he can do about it.
