Donald Trump is falling apart on the job already
By now it’s pretty clear what game plan Donald Trump’s babysitters are using for trying to make him look powerful. They got Netanyahu to delay agreeing to a ceasefire until just before Trump took office, so Trump could then take credit for it. They also set things up so Trump could look heroic by reversing the TikTok ban.
But here’s the thing. Just because Trump and his babysitters have a crooked plan, it doesn’t mean it’s going to work. For instance Trump is already admitting that the ceasefire is likely to fall apart. In other words, even if Netanyahu did give him a gift, it’s not going to last long. And then the war will be seen as Trump’s failure, not Biden’s failure.
While admitting today that he isn’t going to be able to keep the ceasefire intact, Trump also went on a senile bender and ended up musing that Gaza is a “phenomenal location.” That’s right, he literally can’t stay on topic (or remember what the topic is) for one minute. It’s a classic sign of dementia.
Meanwhile, even though Trump signed an executive order today that supposedly put TikTok back in business, his executive order will be challenged in court – and it appears to be plainly unconstitutional. So now Trump is going to end up looking like an inept idiot if his TikTok un-ban turns into a re-ban. It’s only day one, and Trump’s efforts at looking strong are just making him look like a joke.
