Donald Trump is erasing history

As I say frequently, we are but history scribes writing down and preserving history in real-time as it happens. The National Archives is one of the most critical agencies as they preserve everything. I am deeply fascinated by these wonderful people’s work, and Donald John Trump has just fired the head of the national archives.
It happened Friday when the director of the White House Presidential personnel office made the announcement. There was no good reason for him to have done this. The head of the national archives was not in place at the time of the classified document thievery. However, that does not seem to matter to Trump. He’s gonna try to wipe out history, he’s on a manic, insane, mission, and it seems nothing will stop him.
The name of this archivist is Colleen Shogan, and she was invaluable. But because Trump only sees what he wants to see (when he’s not engaged in senile mumbo-jumbo), he got it in his head to do this. I can see what Donald John Trump is doing here. He is trying to erase history. He is trying to erase anything that came before he did.
Ah, but history, my friends, is not so easily erased. Trump must know inside that damaged black hole of a soul of his, that he is heading toward uselessness as he slides firmly into the role of a lame duck. He must also know that history will NEVER let itself be erased, no matter what he might do.
History, my friend, is always a survivor. History is our guide to understanding the past and learning its lessons as they are applied to the future. It’s a shame more voters chose not to utilize this most potent tool.
