Donald Trump has lost the baton
It wasn’t quite Broadway, but still, the Trump administration managed to put on a show. The actors included Donald Trump, Pam Bondi, and Kash Patel. Special guest appearances were made by — ICE. On Friday, a Milwaukee County Judge was arrested by the TRUMP ADMINISTRATION for allegedly aiding an undocumented immigrant and helping that immigrant avoid arrest by ICE.
This Judge is now facing two felony charges. The Trump administration’s actions were unseemly, and I suspect they had their own reasons for doing this. It is an escalation, don’t you agree? Here is why I think they did it.
Team Trump has had nothing but bad news lately. It’s been the silence of the lambs for him, meaning utter silence in his ability to do anything competently. And it is all anyone is talking about. This is nothing more than Trump trying to change the subject, but he failed in that as he failed in everything.
First, I think that he and his feckless administration thought the American people would praise him. That didn’t happen. This story’s all over the news, and most people are grossed out, and infuriated by the actions of ICE and of Trump, Patel and Bondi.
It’s because the whole thing was staged. Trump always does this. He likes to escalate and try to change the subject. Well, he failed in two ways. We ARE talking about this Judge, true, but we’re ALSO talking about HIM and how he has FAILED. Those stories have not gone away. I counted half a dozen for myself just today.
Also, instead of people becoming angry at the Judge, most are angry at him. And angry at Ice. who seems to think they’re the mafia, as they barnstorm small and large buildings in search of more lives to destroy.
Trump is NO LONGER POPULAR on the issue of immigration. We showed you the polls, and they speak for themselves. Trump’s state of play is a failure. This story, this work of fiction that they tried desperately to spin into a false yarn of a delinquent Judge, backfired on them, and gosh, in Greek Mythology, the punishment for spinning false yarns — well — we need only look at Athena, who turned Arachne into a spider.
In this case, Trump. Patel. Bondi. ALL of these BAD actors who tried to launch this bad novel, called “rogue Judges” got caught in the act — of boy, did they! Their book should be called “Rogue feckless administration.” Things did not go as they wanted them to, but then again — when do they ever?
