Donald Trump has berserk meltdown, gives away that the DOJ could drop the hammer on him soon
It’s still anyone’s guess as to what timeframe the DOJ has in mind for indicting and arresting Donald Trump in its criminal probe into his theft of top secret classified documents. But Trump now seems to believe that the hammer could be dropping quickly.
Trump went completely berserk this morning on his failed social network, insisting that “I am as innocent as a person can be” (no innocent person talks like this), and ranting about how the government supposedly spied on him, along with something about Hunter Biden. But the real giveaway was when Trump said that “it looks more and more like the Fake News Media is pushing hard for the Sleaze to do something that should not be done!”
Trying to interpret Trump’s screeds these days is often like trying to parse the incoherent ramblings of the unabomber on meth. But in this instance it seems pretty easy to surmise the “sleaze” Trump is referring to is the DOJ and the FBI, and the thing “that should not be done” is his indictment and arrest.
In other words, Donald Trump seems to think that the DOJ is going to drop the hammer on him sooner rather than later, and he’s trying to frame it as the media having pushed the DOJ into doing so. This is some bizarre spin. But Trump is a bizarre person to begin with, and now he’s at that stage of delusional desperation where he knows things are only going to get worse for him, and he’s trying to make it all someone else’s fault.
