Donald Trump goes off the deep end after his tariff stunt backfires
Donald Trump enacted even more tariffs last night, because he’s a stubborn senile idiot who has no idea how anything works. It’s already backfired on him, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling an additional several hundred points today after having plummeted by seven hundred points yesterday. Wall Street is turning against Trump already. Now Canada has enacted retaliatory tariffs, which everyone saw coming except Trump.
Trump posted this angry gibberish on social media today amidst the fallout: “Please explain to Governor Trudeau, of Canada, that when he puts on a Retaliatory Tariff on the U.S., our Reciprocal Tariff will immediately increase by a like amount!”
Huh? All this would do is result in infinitely high tariffs in both directions, causing a car to cost more than a house, and a dozen eggs to cost more than a car. Trump seems to understand that this is all going wrong for him, at one point whining “Oh, that seems fair to me, doesn’t it?”
Great. So we have a “President” of the United States with the cognitive abilities of a four year old and the temperament of crying newborn, and even as he keeps screwing everything up, all he can do is whine.
