It’s never a good thing to try to get around the rules. Rules always exist for a reason. And rules are rules — they apply — or SHOULD apply – to everyone equally, although that sadly is not always what happens.

And the king of the rule-breakers is also the worst President this country ever had the misfortune to have — Donald Trump. The Donald has broken so many rules it would be difficult to keep count. And because he is — in this writer’s opinion — a malignant narcissist, he cannot learn from his mistakes.

As you know, Trump has long been banned from Twitter. But that has not stopped the naughty creature from trying to get around the rules. His latest sneaky tactic was a mysterious account that appeared on Twitter.

This account was called @PresTrumpTS, and its main task appeared to be posting on Twitter all of Trump’s messages from his own social network, TruthSocial.

Here is what the account’s description said: “President Donald J. Trump’s Truth Social Posts on Twitter — Making sure President Trump is heard on Twitter while he and Devin Nunes focus on Truth Social.”

Undoubtedly whoever was behind the operation of this account thought themselves clever. Alas, however, it was not to be. Faster than one could say breaking the law, Twitter users were met with these cheerful words: ACCOUNT SUSPENDED. Oops!

If one takes a deep dive into an icy pool, one must make sure they don’t sink into the waters. So it appears the little plan to break the rules of the game failed — likely because Trump and his ilk are really lousy players.
