You know, of course, that if somebody asked you how many days are in a week, you would say seven. Likewise, if somebody asked what’s the first month of the year, you would say January. If somebody asked you how many brain cells were in Donald Trump’s head, you would likely say zero.

If somebody asked you to explain what working as an Actuary is like, and asked you to give a 9 to 5 description of your day at work, you would not be able to do so, unless you were an actuary, or had been one before.

So what I’m saying is when someone doesn’t answer a question, it’s usually because they do not know the answer to the question. That was obvious on Friday when Donald Trump, during another “press conference”, that went nowhere, was asked by an NBC reporter about Musk.

This reporter did an excellent job relentlessly trying to get Donald Trump on the record by asking him about Elon Musk. This reporter asked about the reported blowup that the New York Times reported on, in the tense cabinet meeting where Elon Musk was reported to be angry, sullen, and nasty.

Trump’s response to the question was, of course, not to answer the question. Why are you asking me that, he demanded to know. Who you are with? NBC, the reporter replied. That explains it, Trump shot back, only to be waylaid by yet another reporter from another news organization also asking about Musk.

By this point, it was apparent that Trump had had it. The questions he was getting included were: Who is in charge of things? Are they your cabinet members, or is it Musk? So Donald Trump, the President of the United States, started ignoring the questions. Of course, he did because, being the big baby he is, he doesn’t KNOW who’s in charge, and that’s the whole point.

If you’re doing a press conference, you’re supposed to be answering the questions. Trump once again showed he can’t answer the questions. And the whole time, he was being asked, he came off as surly, stupid, and not at all presidential. If the media were REALLY being honest, you’d have seen chyrons, all aglow, floating across your screen with words like:

“Donald Trump humiliates himself by showing he has no idea who is actually running things in America.” It is really not because he doesn’t like the questions no matter what he says, but because he doesn’t know the answers, because he’s senile and incompetent and has no idea who’s in charge. Neither do we, but one thing we do know: it. It sure as shit is not him.
