In the wake of his Cancun debacle, Republican Senator Ted Cruz seems to have nothing left to do with himself but to play internet troll in the halls of Congress. Cruz led the way this week in blocking a bill that would have helped veterans with their health care.

Jon Stewart lambasted Cruz for the unpatriotic stunt, and Cruz weakly tried firing back at Stewart. That’s when DNC Chair Jaime Harrison stepped in and dropped the hammer on Ted Cruz:

“Dude stop lying! That pork you smelled was your bacon getting fried by the American people! Vets who dedicated their lives to the nation are dying every day & there you are fist bumping because you stopped a bill that helps them. That’s low … even for you.”
