Confused Donald Trump asks “Who is running the country right now?”

Thanks to Donald Trump, just about everything that can go wrong in this country is going wrong. The economy is suddenly unstable. Grocery prices are soaring. Evil teenagers are taking over crucial government agencies. People in charge of protecting us against nuclear attack are being laid off by mistake. Airplanes keep falling out of the sky. And even Canada now hates us.

Yet Trump can’t seem to make up his mind whether he wants to pretend everything is now great under his rule, or pretend he’s not in charge. Today a confused Trump said this on social media: “Who is running the Country right now?”

Uh, it’s you, Donald. You’re the one running the country right now – into the ground. Yet after asking who’s in charge, Trump goes on in his post to spew conspiracy theories about the “Deep State.” It’s as if Trump is trying to run away from his own failures already. Didn’t Trump promise that he’d eliminate this imaginary Deep State? So why, in his mind, is the Deep State still in charge? Why is Trump too weak to get rid of it? Does Trump even know where he’s at anymore?
