When the day started, Joe Biden was behind by about six hundred thousand votes in Pennsylvania. But we all knew that as the day went on, more of the mail-in ballots would be counted, and that Biden would significantly close the gap.
As of a few minutes ago, Joe Biden is now just 98,000 votes behind Donald Trump in Pennsylvania. There are far more than enough votes still to be counted to make up the difference. And, importantly, the mail-in ballots have been coming in at a far more Biden-friendly ratio than he needs in order to close the gap.
The remaining math suggests that Joe Biden could end up winning Pennsylvania by 100,000 votes or more. At this point it seems more of a question of when, and not if, the news outlets call Pennsylvania for Biden and name him the winner of the presidential election. CNN has been hinting that the announcement could come before the day is over.
