Donald Trump announced to reporters today that John Bolton should face criminal penalties simply for publishing a book about him, because every conversation Trump has is “classified.” This is one of the most asininely idiotic things that Trump has ever said, and it’s of course legally unenforceable. It’s also hilariously self defeating.

Trump now says that every conversation he has is classified. That means, by Trump’s own definition, he’s leaking classified information every time he gives a speech or posts a tweet. Arrest this man now.
