Can’t get any more tone deaf than this
Donald Trump’s DC “SWAMP” has not been drained as he promised; on the contrary, the swamp waters have reached epic level flooding. This awful stench of Republicanism is all people are talking about because the GOP seems utterly unaware of how idiotic they are appearing to others.
As I said, It’s just NOT been the GOP’s week (or month). But I have to say — they’re “BIG BEAUTOIFUL BILL” that Trump wants ever so desperately to pass is receiving so much attention that DC is now turning, right before our own eyes, into their version of “Peyton Place.”
The GOP has been having dead of night meetings trying to please Donald, to earn his love, to make themselves the best, most cruel little House Caucus ever! But the infighting — the infighting has been tumultuous. I watched some of these talks on C-SPAN, and I gotta say the GOP looks like fools.
On MSNBC, Morning Joe said he’s simply stunned at how obtuse these House members are. On Lawrence O’Donnell’s show, he said if the GOP does pass this bill, Democrats will easily win the midterms. It’s a shit show, alright. “Tone-deaf.”
That is the word being used. I mean, do Republicans ever bother to even LOOK IN THE MIRROR? Right now, they’re not the grand old party; they’re the party that enjoys such sadistic activities as yanking people off their healthcare, disappearing Medicaid, and now some whispers are saying cuts to Medicare are ALSO in this wicked bill, t5hat nobody sane would touch with a ten foot pole. The GOP is on the precipice of drifting off the cliff – all to please a pathetic and greedy man who does not care a wit about any of them.
