The walls are closing in on Donald Trump in real time today. Momentum is building for the 25th Amendment. The Feds say they’re probing Trump on a criminal level for his incitement yesterday. Trump is clearly afraid of losing everything, as he’s posted a video this evening promising to leave office peacefully and trying to distance himself from his own terrorist attack.

Trump is correct to fear that he’ll face criminal charges over this. In fact one of Trump’s election attorneys in Pennsylvania has filed a court motion today to withdraw, explaining that Trump has “used the lawyer’s services to perpetrate a crime … the client insists upon taking action that the lawyer considers repugnant.”

That’s right, even one of Donald Trump’s own election lawyers is now accusing Trump of having used his election legal battle as the basis for inciting yesterday’s terrorist attack. It’s clear that Trump is facing dire legal ramifications, to the point that smart people around him are distancing themselves as thoroughly as they can.
