Buyers remorse is setting in already
In life, the decisions people make can have long term ramifications. And sometimes people find out that not all decisions they made were the correct ones. This applies to voting. I laugh, derisively at anyone who claims Voting doesn’t make a difference, that all parties are exactly alike.
I would refer them to the masses of people Donald Trump murdered metaphorically during his first term in office. And “Black Americans for Trump” appears to be having some buyer’s remorse. According to Malik Abdul, who heads up this Republican group, he’s been getting calls from black voters who voted for Trump, and they’re not feeling all too kindly toward our President.
Speaking on CNN, he said that he’s getting lots of calls from black men and women wanting to know about Trump’s campaign promises to make their lives better. WHY, they wonder, is he talking about not celebrating Black History Month anymore? They say that’s not what they voted for!
I’m sorry to inform these voters, but they are casualties of a two-faced and hypocritical media, who spent all the time talking about Joe Biden’s nose glands, his senility that did not exist, and his age even though Trump is the same age as Biden or thereabouts.
Trump’s racism was NOT dismissed, not at all. It was barely even discussed. Something can’t be dismissed If it doesn’t make its entrance into a conversation. How many segments do you remember on this topic?
So of course, stunned voters who are themselves minorities are shocked, that nobody told them that this was what and how things would be. Of course we told them. They didn’t listen hard enough or find the right information. It’s a human tragedy.
So Abdul explained, he’s been busy fielding calls from these extremely worried voters who now have buyers remorse, who think they may have made a mistake, and are now lost in seas of bewilderment with no life jacket coming anytime soon
If they had only listened… If they had only heated the calls that it wasn’t a human being they were voting for but a feral wild animal with sharp teeth, ready willing, and oh so able to sharpen those teeth and take a big bite out of America.
