Over the past two weeks, the mainstream media has put a significant amount of attention on Donald Trump’s campaign manager Brad Parscale, and let’s just say that none of it is the good kind of attention. Now the increasingly beleaguered Parscale has a whole new problem.

We’ve already seen reports that Donald Trump was so angered at his internal polls, he threatened legal action against Parscale over how he was running the campaign. We’ve seen report after report about Parscale allegedly paying himself obscene amounts of Trump campaign money, and blowing it on things like condos and sports cars. There’s no indication that any of this is illegal, but it’s certainly making the Trump campaign look bad.

Now a new CBS News report accuses a company partly owned by Parscale of having taken an $800,000 loan from the Paycheck Protection Program, which was signed into law by Donald Trump. Again, even if this is legal, it’s just a bad look. Trump usually ends up scapegoating people who create the wrong kind of distraction for him, no matter how loyal they are to him. We’ll see if Parscale lasts.
