Bon voyage Ron DeSantis!

Many of you are aware of how much I adore the state of Florida. And itโs been very sad seeing the home by the sea state, having a cold and merciless pudding fingers as their governor. However, something has happened. Allow me to set the stage. It happened under a silken moon โ (are there ANY moons in Florida that arenโt silken?)? A certain governor, (could it be Ron), was hemorrhaging power faster than Donald Trump could scarf down a cheeseburger and French fries.
Ron DeSantis has gone absolutely power mad. As with all bad politicians, he has no idea that he has been turning off everybody around him. In a stunning move, and I DO mean stunning, Floridian officials in the Florida House and Senate tossed Governor DeSantis’ suggestions for enforcing certain immigration policies. Some of those things that Ron wanted to be implemented, included criminal charges for those that did not go along with his ideas and a database tracking those who donated to families outside the United States.
No, thanks, said the lawmakers, cheerfully, tossing Mr. fingers, not so bright ideas aside, and pudding an end to his obsessive need to control everything around him, including Mickey Mouse. It is a stunning fall from grace that Mr. DeSantis,( I will never call governor), has had. Do you remember not long ago when he was widely considered to be the heir to the Trump throne? Well we burst that bubble pretty quickly!
And yes, when I say we, I mean you, the reader and all of us. We reduced Ron DeSantis to a punchline, which is all he deserves, and not one thing more. It is a fitting end to possibly the worst governorship in Florida history. I suspect few will miss this awkward and unsociable control freak when he exits stage left. On the contrary, I think there will be music in the air.
