Bon voyage Marco Rubio!
There was a time I once referred to JD Vance as Dorian Gray. However, Vance has nothing on Marco Rubio. Sometimes, a person’s expressions can tell just as much as what they say. Rubio was in that meeting with Trump, Vance, and Zelenskyy. Rubio would’ve been the first to fall through the floor if the floor was a sinkhole.
The look on his face was such shame and such embarrassment that it became almost comical. Marco Rubio has been one of Ukraine’s most prominent defenders on the Republican side. But Little Marco wants his job, but I ask you this: you don’t think Rubio is gonna survive this whole term do you?
Donald Trump is senile, but when it comes to Rubio, he’s a shark who can take a couple of big bites out of Rubio or merely swallow him whole. There is no way someone as little, as useless, as much of a pipsqueak as Marco Rubio can possibly stay in this job and survive for the next four years.
I’ll be generous in my analysis. He may just make it a year. If he keeps his head down, but sooner or later. Rubio’s gonna be out on his ass. So, one has to wonder what Rubio thinks he’s getting out of all this. Rubio did an interview Kaitlyn Collins on CNN, where he said Zelenskyy should apologize to Trump. The interview was so inconsequential I almost didn’t bother mentioning it because Rubio himself is inconsequential and nobody believes he’s calling the shots as the Secretary of State.
Rubio feels shame. Trust me, even right now, Rubio is one of those people who can feel it but does not have the balls to come out of the box Trump put him in, and tell Donald Trump the heck off. It would actually be the most freeing thing Rubio’s likely ever done. These Republicans don’t care; they want power so badly. Rubio gets to call himself Secretary of State, and maybe on a really bad day he actually believes that.
But trust me, late at night? Late at night when nobody’s around when he can take the mask off? Maybe when there’s a delicate rain outside, and Mr. Dorian Gray Marco Rubio tosses and turns, he knows he’s betraying his country. He knows what an honorable dunderhead he is. He knows that when he looks in the mirror, the only reflection gazing back at him is Putin.
