Beto O’Rourke comes out swinging

In the middle of a pandemic, with no vaccine, insufficient testing and tracing, and a still-poor understanding of antibodies and immunity, and scientists still urging caution, several states are fully “reopening” for business, for no good reason beyond the fact that everyone is bored with staying at home. Texas is one of the most egregious offenders.

Greg Abbott, the corrupt and deranged Governor of Texas, tweeted on Friday night that “Texas is Opening Safe, Smart, and Strong.” Of course this isn’t remotely the case. Beto O’Rourke, who hails from Texas, fired back at Abbott:
