Donald Trump is in the midst of one of his most berserk meltdowns to date, which is saying something, considering just how far over the edge so many of his previous meltdowns have been. Thus far today heโ€™s randomly (and falsely) accused NBCโ€™s Lester Holt of having fudged the infamous interview they did more than a year ago. Heโ€™s also newly obsessed with his illegal firing of former FBI Director James Comey. But the strangest part of his ranting today may have been the part where he went berserk about Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.

Yesterday, Donald Trump announced out of nowhere that White House Counsel Don McGahn would be departing soon. It wasnโ€™t difficult to parse that Trump was running McGahn out of the building after having recently learned through the media that McGahn has been selling him out to Special Counsel Robert Mueller for the past ten months. Then came word that it was Ivanka and Jared who pushed Trump into making the move.

Trump didnโ€™t exactly take kindly to this reporting, posting this strange tweet: โ€œIvanka Trump & Jared Kushner had NOTHING to do with the so called โ€œpushing outโ€ of Don McGahn. The Fake News Media has it, purposely,so wrong! They love to portray chaos in the White House when they know that chaos doesnโ€™t exist-just a โ€œsmooth running machineโ€ with changing parts!โ€ This tweet is so absurd, even by his standards, we had to check twice to make sure it wasnโ€™t from a Trump parody account.

Weโ€™re not quite sure what to make of this. Donald Trump seems to be insistent on getting sole credit for these petty moves that are rapidly unraveling whatโ€™s left of his presidency. Heโ€™s going berserk in public because someone dared to say that he listened to the advice of his own daughter and son-in-law. This is Creepy McWeird, even for him.
