Since he suddenly became a Republican in 2015 so he could run for president as one, Donald Trump never has quite figured out what the Republican party line is supposed to be on abortion. He modified his stance on the issue several times during the 2016 campaign as he tried to figure out what Republicans want to hear. Unfortunately for Trump, he’s now falling to pieces so quickly, he’s lost the plot entirely.

Donald Trump was trying to say something about abortion this weekend, but we’re not quite sure what, as he ended up saying this: “Right now in a number of states the laws allow a baby to be born from his or her mother’s womb in the 9th month. It is wrong. It has to change.” That’s right, Trump now wants to ban women from giving birth at all – or maybe he wants them to wait until the tenth month. To be clear, Trump actually said this; check out the video:

This comes just one day after Donald Trump got confused and announced that he has to flush the toilet ten or fifteen times in order to get it to go down. Everyone misspeaks sometime. But as the pressure of impeachment gets worse, Trump is getting confused more frequently and more severely. He’s now reached the point where he wants to ban child birth and he doesn’t know how to flush a toilet. There’s a humorous element here, but the cold reality is that Trump is quickly slipping further into cognitive decline – and it’ll only get worse as impeachment advances.
