Bad news for Donald Trump
As we watch Donald Trump destroy America, we marvel. We marvel at the fact that ANYONE would ever have voted for this man who would be king. He would be king in his fantasies, no place else. America liberated itself from Majesty many, MANY years ago, and we are not about to go back, simply at the whim of a spoiled, shrinking baby brat who seems unable to lead his life without getting lost in the delusions of grandeur that inevitably follow him.
But the American people disapprove. MOST do not approve. How do I know that? Because the proof is in the numbers. A new YouGov poll is out that shows half the country deeply disapproves of Trump’s deployment of the Military to Los Angeles. Now, that does not mean the other half does approves. The results of this new poll show that only about 34% approve of deploying the Military.
What this shows is that if Trump was counting on the American people being on his side, he made the wrong calculation. Most are NOT on his side. As to the ones who are? Look — I know you, many of you, are likely thinking the number is still not good enough. You want Trump’s approval down to five percent, ten percent, or even zero percent. I get that, oh how I get that!
But in today’s polarized world? I’m genuinely sorry, but that’s not going to happen. Like it or not, Trump still has a few people who adore him and will always do so. That 34% number undoubtedly includes both MAGA and low information voters who likely have no idea what’s going on, never did, and figure if Trump deployed the Military, there has to be a good reason.
That line of thought is not unlike a voir dire process when picking a jury. Think of it like this — When someone is arrested and goes to a jury trial, it is the prosecution’s job to weed out these sorts. Many people DO think, ‘Okay, this person was arrested; there surely must be a reason why; they must have done something wrong.’
So, if we think of this like a Voir Dire process, surely we can understand the mindset of the low-information voter. They likely know little to nothing about ICE, have no idea that deploying the Military without the consent of the Governor is against the law, and all they know are the images that play out on their TV screens.
But this is not a court case; it’s an unhinged president. There is no such process to weed out voters who have no idea who and what has taken over our country and who do not understand the dark forces of evil. So that is why, for now, we should not expect the Trump numbers to plunge into single digits.
However, this is still excellent news because it shows that a many are not falling for the master of mayhem’s false statements; the majority sees right through him and knows what he’s all about. And what he’s about is mayhem.
