Donald Trump isn’t exactly having a great day. Deutsche Bank just accused him of Russian money laundering. GOP Congressman Justin Amash just called for his impeachment. And we’re guessing Trump’s golf game went so poorly today, he had to cheat again. In any case, once he found his way back to his television, he apparently tuned in to his favorite propaganda channel Fox News, only to learn the hard way that everything is spiraling out of control for him.

Chris Wallace, one of the more reputable people in the Fox News cesspool, appears to be trying to cover the 2020 Democratic candidates fairly. That doesn’t work for Trump, because he narcissistically expects personal loyalty from Fox News, while failing to grasp that Fox exists for the sake of ratings and revenue. If a segment of Fox viewers are intrigued by Pete Buttigieg’s candidacy in a positive way, then Fox is going to give him some positive coverage. Just don’t ask Trump to like it.

Trump posted this histrionic tweet attacking the network, the host, and the candidate: “Hard to believe that Fox News is wasting airtime on Mayor Pete, as Chris Wallace likes to call him. Fox is moving more and more to the losing (wrong) side in covering the Dems. They got dumped from the Democrats boring debates, and they just want in. They forgot the people who got them there. Chris Wallace said, ‘I actually think, whether you like his opinions or not, that Mayor Pete has a lot of substance…fascinating biography.’ Gee, he never speaks well of me – I like Mike Wallace better…and Alfred E. Newman will never be President!”

That’s right, Donald Trump is now resorting to attacking his own favorite cable news network for not sufficiently kissing up to him, all while rehashing a stupid nickname that didn’t catch on the first time. If blowing off steam like this is his idea of “fighting back” against the damage that Amash and Deutsche Bank are doing to him today, he’s not equipped for the upcoming fight of his life.
