Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slam dunks Mike Huckabee and Sarah Huckabee Sanders

Democrats and liberals across the nation seem to have a divided view when it comes to incoming Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Is she going to save the party? Is she bad for the party? We’ll see what she does once she takes office. In the meantime, one thing is totally clear: far-right Republicans are attacking her in ridiculous and dishonest ways. She’s fighting back, and easily slam dunking them.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made this remark to her supporters, which seems pretty reasonable to us: “We went to the moon. We electrified the nation. We established civil rights. We enfranchised the country. We dig deep, and we did it. We did it when no one else thought that we could. That’s what we did when so many of us won an election this year.” In response, deranged lunatic Mike Huckabee decided to twist her words in rather ugly fashion: “Ocasio-Cortez compares her election to moon landing. Huh? Big difference. Moon landing was LUNAR, not LOONEY.”

This opened the door for Ocasio-Cortez to put not only Mike Huckabee, but his daughter, current Trump White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, in their places: “A Green New Deal will take a level of ambition + innovation on the scale of the moon landing. We’ve been done it before, and can do it again. Leave the false statements to Sarah Huckabee. She’s much better at it. Also, you haven’t been a Governor of any state for 10+ years now.”

In so doing, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez managed to slam both Mike Huckabee and Sarah Huckabee Sanders for being liars. After listing off the sheer number of far-right Republican politicians who have disingenuously attacked her of late, including multiple sitting GOP Senators, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hit back at all of them: “Don’t y’all have jobs to do?”
