Donald Trump is having just about the worst day he could possibly have. He got savagely played by Kim Jong-Un. Roger Stone got caught red handed committing espionage on behalf of the Trump campaign. You name it, everything went wrong. We suspect that right now, Trump is hiding in a White House broom closet. Suffice it to say that Trump’s “lawyer” Rudy Giuliani isn’t taking any of today’s events particularly well either.

Rudy says that, even though Trump just canceled his meeting with Kim Jong-Un before Kim could cancel it, he thinks the meeting is still going to happen anyway. Of course yesterday Giuliani admitted that he hasn’t even spoken with Trump in weeks, which could explain why the two of them aren’t within a Russian mile of being on the same page. But now Rudy is, for lack of a better way of describing it, reduced to speaking in tongues.

Here is Rudy’s rationale for why thinks the meeting between Trump and Kim Jong-Un is still on: “I think it is more inevitable than a Mueller interview … at least they’re not going to try to trap him into Korean perjury.” Okay, so we maybe sorta kinda halfway know what Giuliani is trying to say here, but still – Korean perjury? Come on, either Rudy is on drugs, or he needs to be. By the way, perjury only happens when the person testifying is lying. So Giuliani just admitted that he’s afraid Trump will lie to Robert Mueller.

Rudy Giuliani’s meltdown was a fitting end for the most disastrous day yet in a historically disastrous illegitimate presidency. This is like Watergate, the Manchurian Candidate, and Benedict Arnold all wrapped into one, but with incoherent idiots. Tomorrow will be even worse for Trump and what’s left of his team of traitors.
