Donald Trump has a whole new Pee Pee Tape problem, and it involves Melania Trump
Just when Donald Trump’s other explosive scandals were threatening to push his affairs off the front page, thus perhaps allowing his troubles with his wife to calm down for a moment, it turns out Trump’s Melania problem just got a whole lot worse. In fact this time around it’s because of something stupid that Donald Trump said privately, and it involves – incredibly – the Pee Pee Tape.
James Comey is days away from releasing his new book, which is partially about his interactions with Donald Trump. One eye popping passage from the book surfaced today in the New York Post, and it involves Trump having asked Comey to consider investigating the Pee Pee Tape, in order to reassure Melania that it wasn’t real. Considering the manner in which Trump has asked Comey and others to “investigate” things, Trump was pretty clearly hinting that he wanted Comey to announce that there was no Pee Pee Tape, regardless of the evidence. So what’s the problem here?
Melania Trump surely knew about some or all of Donald Trump’s affairs over the years. What seemed to set her off, and prompt her to begin taking not-so-subtle measures to snub Donald, was when they became public. She was particularly perturbed when the decade-old Stormy Daniels affair hit the newswires earlier this year, which suggested that she felt humiliated by the fact that the public knew Donald was cheating on her.
Now James Comey’s book is putting Donald Trump’s Pee Pee Tape right back in the center of the public’s attention, and Melania Trump’s name is being dragged into it no less, all because Donald made the dumb mistake of asking Comey to make the Pee Pee Tape story go away. If Trump hadn’t tried to get Comey to help him, this wouldn’t be a headline right now. Considering Melania’s negative responses to Trump’s affairs making the headlines, Trump has a whole new problem on his hands.
