Donald Trump goes berserk about President Obama
Now that his Russia scandal is exploding by the day, Donald Trump is losing what little was left of his mind. The Russians have been indicted for conspiring to rig the election in Trump’s favor, exposing him as an illegitimate president and a Russian puppet. He’s still refusing to implement legally mandated sanctions against Russia, and everyone knows why. Now he’s going berserk about President Obama.
Of all the stupefyingly stupidly stupid things that Trump has ever posted on Twitter, he may have reached a new low with this stupid tweet today: “I have been much tougher on Russia than Obama, just look at the facts. Total Fake News!” Is there an emoji for simultaneously laughing sarcastically, rolling your eyes, and wanting to throw a blunt object at your Twitter screen?
President Obama led the charge on heightened sanctions against Russia in 2014. After the U.S. intel community concluded that Russia meddled in the 2016 election, Obama hit Russia with even harder sanctions, including the expulsion of diplomats and the closing of diplomatic properties, just before leaving office. In contrast, Trump has done nothing to Russia. Both parties of Congress forced him to sign a new sanctions bill, but he’s since decided that he doesn’t need to enforce it.
So what is this clown even talking about? Surely he doesn’t know. No one has been softer on Russia than Donald Trump has. No one could possibly find a way to be softer on Russia than Trump has. He’s a Russian puppet. He keeps proving it with each passing day. The Trump-Russia investigation is going to expose precisely why he’s such a Russian puppet. It’s just a matter of time.
